Designing your wedding cake is a once in a life time experience. At The Melbourne Cake Company, I use my expertise to create a hassle free, seamless journey from concept to realisation. I create elegant wedding cakes that are the centrepiece of your reception. leaving your guests in awe and taste amazing in the process.
Step 1 - Get in touch.
It all starts by you getting in touch! Then we can begin a conversation looking at the wedding details you have already planned. I am happy for you to share with me Pinterest boards, images of inspiration or let me guide you through design suggestions if you don't know where to begin.
Initial conversations can be conducted over email, phone or zoom to suit your requirements.
Step 2 - Design
Once I get to know your wedding style and guest requirements I will hand draw a sketch proposal complete with transparent costs tailored to your design style and size.
To secure your date in my dairy requires a £150 non refundable deposit, which is deducted from your wedding cake total.
The balance for your design will be invoiced 1 month before the delivery date.
Step 3- Taster box
So many of my past clients have commented on their enjoyment in receiving their Taster box.
Each box contains six classic cake flavours. Beautifully presented and delivered direct to your own home. I consider this to be an essential part of your wedding cake journey.
Step 4 - Delivery & set up
With my experience, it comes natural to me to liaise seamlessly with your chosen suppliers and venue stylists. I will call your venue the day before to check location, set up and arrival details for seamless coordination.
On your wedding day, your cake will be delivered personally by myself, in plenty of time before guest arrival.
Time is allocated to professionally set up your design making sure it meets the vision we set out to achieve.
A final photograph is taken and messaged to you to complete my service and for your wedding cake to become the unforgettable centrepiece it deserves to be.
