All wedding cakes at The Melbourne Cake Company are bespoke. We recommend booking 6–12 months in advance, particularly for the popular wedding months between May-August. This allows time for your design to receive the attention it deserves and for you to perfect any details. Your date is secured once your £150 deposit is paid.
2. Can we choose different flavours for each tier?
Of course! The Melbourne Cake Company offers six classic flavours to choose from. Offering more than one cake flavour provides your guests with a choice and a talking point. Final flavour selections must be confirmed in writing.
3. Do you offer cake tastings?
Yes, Taster boxes are available and are delivered via an overnight service direct to your home. A Taster box is a luxury experience which allows you to sample a selection of flavours before making your final choices. Tastings are designed to help you feel confident in your flavour decisions ahead of the big day.
4. Can you recreate a design we’ve seen online or on Pinterest?
The Melbourne Cake Company creates bespoke wedding cake designs. We are happy to use inspiration images as a starting point. We take pride in working with you to extract key details about your wedding day vision and style to make sure your cake design fits perfectly.
5. Do you deliver and set up the wedding cake?
Yes, we offer professional delivery and on-site setup to ensure your cake arrives safely and is presented beautifully. Delivery and setup fees vary depending on location and venue requirements.
